An Adoption Break.... I Need New Recipes!!

I need an adoption break! No blogs, no discussions about being patient and growing stronger... I need some new recipes! I am AWFUL at thinking outside of the box.. I don't have any sea food recipes, very few creative pasta recipes, and zero appetizer recipes.

Unacceptable.

Will you share with me??

Pretty please? :-)

Link up to an old recipe post or a new one... I can't wait to try something new!
(If you don't have a blog but have a recipe to share, leave it in the comments! If your fav recipe comes from another website, just link to that site!)

PS. I also need a good pizza dough recipe... :-)

  1. Pulled out a recipe last night that someone shared with me last year (large quantity so you'll want to scale back).

Super easy Sante Fe chicken for the crockpot.

6 frozen boneless/skinless chicken breast. Cook with 4 cups of salsa for 4-6 hours on low. Last 30 minutes put in a block of cream cheese. Serve on tortillas or on top of rice.

  2. BBQ - Crockpot

Buy a Boston Butt (especially when it is on sale 99 cents a lb is a good price). They are rather big, so plan to feed a lot of people or freeze. Buy the McCormick slow cooker BBQ packet and follow the directions. You will need cider vinegar, brown sugar, and ketchup. Let it cook for at least 8 hours. It will fall apart when you get it out of the crockpot. Hardly any work involved.

  3. Crock Pot Pot Roast

Throw any roast in the crock pot with a jar of banana pepper rings (mild) with the juice and cook until the roast falls apart. It smells weird at first but you can't taste the banana peppers... they just make it salty with a hint of tang! So good!

Serve out of a bowl or on rolls.
